This application does a few things:
1. Allows you to download the latest FAA Sectional Chart (VFR) to your Android device in full resolution; it saves sectional image on your SD card (24/27 Mb).
2. Allows you to view the sectional from your device, zoom in/out, move around by fingers.
3. It allows your to take snapshots of your screen and save as individual JPGs on SD card.
This application runs when there is no GPS and no Internet connection. Everything is running from your SD card.
You pre-load sectional, though, using your wifi or data service. Since then - you are internet/GPS free.
This is just like having a paper sectional, but it is on your device and you don't need a magnifying glass to see the details.
